I have done art for many many years but only started to share it publically 4 years ago. I stopped working fulltime to be able to work on my art.
What I never openly shared is how my awakening to spiritual matters has influenced my art and this initially inspired my first series 5 years ago (Bridges of an Elf).
I have been trying to ”find myself”, that is, to find my “style” as an artist. After intense searching, I have finally come to the conclusion that this ”finding” will never happen. Why? Because I will continually keep on growing, learning and expanding. My art will change just as much as I do, so I´ve stopped searching for a ”specific” box I can fit myself into, trying to make it easier to label my art and myself as an artist. It just isn't that easy. So I let go and trust in the process.
I have also learned how many people (myself included) never speak about their spiritual praxis because of fear of being labeled or put in a certain box they don´t feel at home in.
But to be honest that doesn’t matter to me anymore. I don’t understand the label ”I am spiritual”, because we all are. We are all humans with a spirit. Some of us seek a connection to something more and some of us don’t. It doesn’t make ”Spiritual People” better, just different.
That being said, I have a spiritual praxis, for me this is meditation. For the last 5 years I have tried to do it daily, but hey, I’m human, so I fuck up.
But my life has changed drastically after I started meditating, searching a deeper connection and connection to something that is greater than my human existence.
And I have learned a lot. It has made me a better person. It has given me so much depth, meaning and serenity in my life and now is the time to start sharing about it.
So in this blog, I am going to share with you what meditation can do for you, as well as other exciting stuff like crystals, healing and how having your own ritual can help create a life you love.
If you have started your ”spiritual Journey”, have been there for a while, or if this is all totally new for you I would love for you to come back here and be a part of this.
- maybe you'll get inspired to create a luscious new life, in your own beautiful way.
Thank you for stopping by!
Lots of love and light to you,
Lisa
